Stephanie Sipe has more than 10 years’ experience working in the restaurant industry and joined the Carving Room family in 2014.
Before beginning her career with Carving Room, Stephanie attended college at East Carolina University majoring in Economics and Business. Not 100% sure what she wanted to do, she moved up to DC and began working at the DC Courts and part-time at Carving Room. After falling in love with the company's core values and dedication to serving up some of the best dishes while maintaining the highest levels of quality and service, Stephanie made the decision to join the restaurant full time.
Stephanie is thrilled to bring her experience as host, server, expo, bartender, and manager to the role of general manager at CR NoMa.
Some of the best lessons Sipe has learned in her career with Carving Room is the importance of supporting, learning from and growing with your team. She believes you should come to work everyday striving to become as knowledgeable as possible in your craft. She also believes work should be fun. “Your coworkers are like family, and it is important to remember that.”
Stephanie has lived in DC for 6 years. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her Weimaraner, Sadie. She also enjoys attending concerts, exploring new restaurants, and traveling.
